Do you lot want your kids to learn Spanish AND have fun with them? You tin can do both using the fun and like shooting fish in a barrel activities to teach the list of trunk parts in Spanish that I have in this lesson. I accept detailed instructions for a game (a nifty way to spend time together), video ideas, a listening and reading activity, and detailed instructions for Total Physical Response (TPR) which is a proven manner to learn Spanish using actions.
Don't know Castilian? No worries! I take a video with the listening activity, so you lot can either listen to it to hear the correct pronunciation or take your kids sentry it to complete the activity.

How I Taught My Kids This Basic List of Torso Parts in Castilian
I should say how I taught Aidan this list of torso parts in Castilian. Thanks to a decorated work schedule this past week and Alex starting baseball, I was only able to do this lesson on the twenty-four hours Alex was gone again. I'm still trying to figure out how to schedule more than ane lesson a calendar week. My goal was five times a calendar week, simply I'm thinking three times will exist more realistic with our schedule. Especially since I'g scrambling just to get i in.
Anyhoo, Aidan and I started the lesson with TPR. I totally forgot to review the numbers before nosotros started. Oops. I had been reviewing them during the calendar week, and he remembered them so it probably wasn't necessary to do it once again before jumping into the body parts lesson.
For TPR, I pointed to my body part and said it in Castilian several times. He seems to like to repeat me fifty-fifty though his pronunciation is terrible. I know he likes to mangle the pronunciation on purpose sometimes, simply other times I wish he would stop trying to say the words and just mind. It's. And then. Bad. Hopefully my face doesn't evidence it, just I'm cringing then hard inside.
After a few minutes of TPR, I said we were going to play Simón Dice (Simon Says). He just near had a meltdown and was quite passionate nearly how much he hates that game. I heard quite an earful about it earlier he gave me a run a risk to tell him we didn't have to play information technology. Jeez. I've never seen someone hate Simon Says so much. I told him I would find or make a Kahoot to play instead after the listening and reading activity.
So we skipped to the drawing a monster activeness. I read the sentences slowly to him repeating them a few times and so he could procedure what I was saying. He really got into it when I told him he could brand it look like any he wanted. He just had to include what I was maxim. And I ended up changing a couple of things for him because he insisted on 3 noses instead of one and more hands. He also added necks which was fine with me if it kept him happy.
I cutting out the sentences for him, and he read them and then glued them next to the torso parts on his analogy. I'm going to have him read it and translate it to my married man as a quick review activity.
I looked for a Kahoot with this list of body parts in Spanish and remembered what I learned last time which was to expect at all of the questions and answers before playing. Good thing too! I almost didn't. I wanted a quiz that simply had the basic body parts, and each 1 I looked at had errors. I ended up making one very chop-chop with just the body part in English for the question and four choices of trunk parts in Castilian for the answer.
Aidan was non impressed with it and told me with a bit of sarcasm in his vox, "What great questions! They're and then interesting!" I told him he had to go a hundred percent, or nosotros'd go along the lesson. That shut him up. 😂
Aside from learning that Aidan hates Simon Says, the lesson went pretty much equally planned. I'm going to keep maxim trunk parts in Castilian to him during the week and have him either tell me the English language translation or point to the trunk part.
This quizlet set only has thirteen terms in it and so information technology matches the list of body parts in Spanish vocabulary that I take in my lesson pretty closely. Just, it doesn't accept pictures. This quizlet set has more body parts only has pictures likewise.
